Lily Mailler is a registered psychologist whose work as a therapist is informed by her rich work experience and continued efforts to apply a Family Systems perspective to her personal and professional life.
Lily is originally from Peru and speaks fluent Spanish; has 30 years experience working with children, Individuals, couples, families and older aged clients. she has been studying and applying Bowen Theory for over 20 years. Lily is keen to keep abreast with recent research into the neurophysiology of emotions as well as with the science behind the theory.
Lily is a guest faculty member at the Family Systems Institute; she presently runs theory modules for the certificate program and has presented on topics relevant to the theory at annual conferences. Lily also supervises organisations and individuals with an interest in applying Bowen Theory; has been responsible for supervising candidates for the Masters in Counselling psychology at Macquarie University and runs a small private practice at Newport in Sydney’s northern beaches.
